There are moments in our lives where the best thing we can do is save money, and if we’re not really used to that or we just need some help cutting personal expenses a bit lower, our smartphones can be great assistants when it comes to this task, with the help from a few apps that can make your life easier (and cheaper):
- YNAB (You Need A Budget): This is a greatly designed app that is paid, but has a 43-day long free trial, and if you’re a student, you can contact them with your information and they’ll give you a free subscription for a year! This is a versatile app that will assist you in the creation of budgets that include your expenses and classifies them accordingly. Available as a web app on PC, Android, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
- Alzex Personal Finances Pro: This works in a similar Way to You Need a Budget, but it more or less has a more serious interface, although this one has a fixed price, instead of being a subscription service. It has a Home and a Pro version, and right now, the Pro version is selling at the same price as the Home one (39.95 $), so, it’s not a bad idea to take advantage of this offer. Personal Finances Pro is available for PC, Android, iPhone, iPad and a special mobile version you can install on flash drives so you can open up your financial data on any computer.
- Expensify: This app will save all the receipts from your cash expenses and make a database around them, giving you quick, precise expense reports on the go, it is available for iOS and Android devices.
- Freshbooks Cloud Accounting: This is a great professional-oriented app that will help you create your own invoices for your business, aside from basic features like tax calculations and business scheduling. The price varies according to the number of active clients you have. It is a web-based service, meaning you can open it from any device that is connected to the internet.
All of these apps have great features that can work for you, just make sure you pay attention to the numbers and commit to following your budget and you’ll see saved money in no time. Have you used any of these apps? Tell us about your experience in the comments section below!
